Learn more... Download Order How to profit from Touch Typer? As mentioned in the tutorial, Touch Typer software comes with two groups of languages. First is a "fully supported" group. You can use these languages right away. The second is a "limited support" group, to use Touch Typer with one of these languages, you need to find a text, in that language, and to paste it into a corresponding .TXT and .RTF files. Finally, all other languages fall into a cetegory "not supported yet". To add a support for one of them, you need to a) add text, as above, b) to draw a keyboard (a .GIF file), and c) to create a text file with coordinates of buttons. This process is described in a manual, and is rather simple (we, of course, cannot guarantee, that any language can be supported, but with the most languages it should work). Let's say, you have created a support for the language, that is not in our list, or for a language(s) from the "limited support" group. What prevents you from selling it? Nothing Here is an example of how to do it: You need a web site (note: we do not provide help for web site design - you are on your own). Place a link to our program's web site. Place a "buy" link to YOUR files, for example, to an archive, containing a keyboard layout, sample text and an image of a keyboard. It is a good idea to take some additional promotion steps, a good starting point is our eCommerce experiment web site. As the result, people will see something like this: ... Some text, explaining, what Touch Typer is, with a link to typer.snowcron.com ... Some text, explaining, what YOUR files contain, following by a "buy" link: or an "add to cart" link (say, you offer few files, one per each language, and you want a visitor to be able to select what he/she need): When the visitor wants support for a specific language, he will buy our Touch Typer (this is our profit) and YOUR additional language(s) (this is your profit). How to create a "buy now" or "add to cart" buttons, so that YOU receive the money? There are many options, all of them fall into the category of so-called online credit card processing companies. Some of them are very well known and have a good reputation, like, for example, a PayPal, RegSoft and so on. So you need to register with them, and to send files (or passwords, or whatever you are selling) to the customer, when you see his order in, say, PayPal reports. By the way, if you want the file/password to be sent automatically, whenever someone pays with the PayPal, you can consider our Digital Sell service. Or you can use the RegSoft, it does this sort of things, too (at a higher price). Few words about rights. You CAN NOT offer our files. You can NOT copy our files to your site, a link to our site should be provided, instead. You can create support for languages with "limited support", but it is an extremely simple operation, all you sell are two files, one TXT and one RTF. You decide, if it is ethical to sell, what can be done with two Copy/Paste operations. You CAN create a new keyboard image (and a corresponding file with coordinates of buttons) for languages from the "limited support" group, but it should be a TRULLY new image, a simple cosmetic operations, like changing color of an existing keyboard image, does not count. If you create a new image, you can offer a pack, containing that image, a file with coordinates of buttons, and two files with sample text. You CAN create support for a language, that currently is not supported. You can use our images of a keyboard, as a starting point, but we strongly encourage you to create a brand new image. Finally, keep in mind, that you should hold a (C) for both image(s) and a sample text(s), you shouldn't "borrow" them from some other Internet files. Any (C) issues that it may create are your responsibility, as well as any problems the user has with your files.
